I explained to my stylist that i did not want to go over 600 dollars. She hand picked several dresses for me from the clearance rack. I chose between 3 based on the price she told me id pay, I chose the one that was closest to my price range. She told me every dress she bought me was 40% off. I asked her to give me a quote which came to about 540 before tax. She talked me into applying for the finance option, It came back that I was able to finance up to $1300. Even with this information I was expecting to pay the discounted price that we had agreed on. When I went to pay she told me the total was $905 and some change. I was in shock. My stylist apologized for giving me incorrect information. I asked what they could do to make it right. Because i thought very hard about this decision based on false information. They proceed to go grab another dress that was actuality 40% off, saying it was very similar. That dress was nothing like the one i picked. I Personally work in retail and if we give an incorrect quote we have to stand by our word, even if it cuts into profits. With this we keep our customers coming back because we stand by Values that aligin with excellent customer service. I was so upset and shocked at this information I just took the dress at the new price they gave me. I feel like they bated me, I was in complete shock. I love everything about this dress and it literally fits me like a glove. If i cannot get any help with this incorrect price quote and be matched at what I was quoted then i will have to return this dress.

Very bad service

Yesterday we had an appointment to find a wedding dress the associate that helped us was very unhelpful was not friendly had no suggestions just stood there she didnt even help with the wedding dresses when you go to a bridal shop someone should have experience when buying a dress this girl did not help us what so ever I thought when we went to a bridal shop there was professional workers to help you find the perfect dress

User's recommendation: Get people to work that can assist the person that’s looking for the dress she was not helpful at all didn’t answer any questions didn’t offer to help.

Charges to return an order that was not what I expected

automatic charges to return a dress and the 7 day only to decide rule. I will not order from David's Bridal again and there are two family weddings happening within six months.

User's recommendation: shop here if you want to be charged to order from them on line.

Yes that's their policy. Blame yourself for not researching prior to ordering.

But you solved your own problem..

Go elsewhere. Rather silly complaint.

Poor Service

Ordered a dress over the phone with an associate because ordering online didn't provide me the option to ship to my local store. I didn't want to chance the mail carrier to leave my dress and have it damaged by anything. The rep NEVER advised that by placing the order over the phone I had 7 days from date of purchase to cancel. Now 1 month later I need to cancel due to the wedding being canceled and no refund is being processed. I didn't physically walk out with a dress nor was the dress to be delivered until JUNE, but store credit is their only offer. I will not be returning or recommending DB to anyone in the future.

User's recommendation: Do not use Davids Bridal.

Ridiculous return policy

I have been trying for FOUR days to contact customer service. I ordered a skirt that I want to return. I order to do so I must have an RMA code. Well, my order showing it is still shipping and I am unable to get such a code. I was told to call customer service but Ive been on hold for thirty minutes trying to get this code. What a sham. I will never order from DB again.

LISTEN UP - THE ASSOCIATE TOLD US THAT WE COULD GET A REFUND WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DRESS BEING PICKED UP. THE DRESS I TRIED ON IN THE STORE WAS A 12 AND THEY ORDERED AN 8 FOR ME TO TRY ON. I PICKED IT UP ON MONDAY AND RETURNED IT 5 DAYS LATER BUT WAS TOLD I COULD ONLY GET A STORE CREDIT. THEIR POLICY IS 7 DAYS FROM THE ORDER DATE - NOT THE PICK UP DATE. SO NOW I FIGHT WITH CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A REFUND.

Refund

I went to Davids Bridal 9/19/2020 to a local store Springfield, IL to pick up my wedding dress that had been altered a few weeks ago. When seeing my dress hung up in the fitting room I noticed the alteration job was terrible. The very bottom lining of the dress was chopped up, the underneath layer is too short and the buckle to the train looks very sloppy. I proceed to try on the dress and there are so many errors I am not happy with the dress and would not like to pay for it! The store informed me that since my dress had been altered it is non refundable able I would have to pay for the dress. I DID not mess up the alteration and I AM not paying for this dress. I am a very unhappy customer and would like assistance!

Quality of my wedding dress

I ordered my dress twice both times the dress came in it was a used dress. It had stains where it had been wore it had bad snags and alot of strings hanging as well as a pink stain. The store told me they can't and don't guarantee that the dresses be new. If thats the case why should I pay "new price" for a used dress.

Unworn, unaltered wedding gown

I was looking for a refund on a wedding gown that I purchased. The gown was purchased in my size but I was unable to get it altered due to covid19. My wedding was postponed and then cancelled. I did not receive much help in regards to the situation. Btw the dress was completely paid off!

Wrong wedding dress

I would like to make a complaint. I ordered my wedding dress last october. My dress came in in March and they ordered the wrong dress. They had to reorder another dress and suggested going a size bigger. I finally got it and am now in for fitting and the seamstress says the dress is too big and that it'll cost a lot of money to alter. I have not had a good experience with your store and you ha e cost me more money than I should have to spend because of your employees mistakes.

Discriminated Against

Manager in the Saginaw Michigan store is horrible.. She mocked my choice of colors, then on the day of my fitting, after having spoken to alterations and explaining I medically cannot wear a mask, I was kicked out of the shop and my appointment cancelled. Ask me if I will ever return there!
