BUYERS BEWARE

My daughter went to David's Bridal on Saturday and gave them a budget on what she wanted to spend, after trying on several gowns she finally picked out the gown she loved, she told the women she wanted that gown to write it up,my daughter wanted to spend $ 300.00I knew I was going to pay for the gown and I agreed to spend $ 300.00 because it was a very informal wedding...well the dress was $ 799.00 and my daughter started crying and told the women she gave her a amount. how can David's Bridal scam people like this and there was no tag on the dress, I asked the women why she showed her a gown for $ 799.00 and her reply was she didn't like the other dressed that were shown.. FOX 29 Jeff COLE PLEASE HELP US AND THOSE OTHER PEOPLE THAT ARE BEING SCAMMED...also I went on David's Bridal website and there are ton's of bad reviews about the store. This is just half of the bad experience we went through that day, I look forward to putting a stop to this scam, David's Bridal is a BUYERS BEWARE nightmare !!!, And I spoke with the district manager Haether D'Agosta and her only advice to me was to have my daughter come back in and pick out another gown, how can I ask my daughter to pick out another gown when she fell in love with the gown in question ? I look forward to hearing from you, also I am going to post this on David's Bridals website.

thank you so much for your input as a bride to be i was sure on my way to the infamous davids bridal. i am so sorry your daughter had to experience that garbage.

i will not even take the risk of going into davids bridal. what a bummer.

Guest

I totally feel for your daughter. It's terrible to have someone not take your budget seriously, and furthermore to make her feel anything less than a princess while shopping for the most memorable dress of her life.

But I also think demanding you get $400 off the dress is ridiculous.

If I try on a dress that I can't afford, it doesn't matter how much I cry, it's not going to suddenly be my magic price. Yeah, the consultant here was wrong, but you're acting like a child.

Guest

My daughter went to the David's Bridal store in Danvers, MA, and purchased a dress by herself, because she wanted to eliminate all the issues with bringing family/friends along. But the sales person was very rude to her and actually asked her "are you actually going to get married?", "are you going to get pregnant between now and your wedding?".

My daughter called her mother (My wife) and told her of her bad experience, and how it made her feel.

I think and feel this an inexcusable way to treat customers coming into your place of business, to spend their hard earned money. After all is that not what you are in business for?

A very irritated parent.

My daughter is an intelligent person and also sensitive too. Put the shoe on the other foot.

Guest

I am sorry to hear your daughter had a bad experience. I worked at location that had a good group of women, but there were still flaws.

The consultant should have been listening to your daughter.

I would keep writing in and talking the district manager or even the corporate office in PA. I hope everything gets worked out okay.

Davids Bridal doesnt hire plus size woman

I am an outgoing plus size woman with over 5 years of customer service experience. The manager called me in for 2 interviews and allowed me to work for over 5 hours and told me they would call me in to meet the store manager. They avoided my calls and never call me back! I am 230 pounds and 5ft 10 African-American woman. I love working with people and they miss led me and should have told me I was not what they were looking for. I finally realized I had been flipped! The store is in Madison Heights, Michigan. I have no criminal background and excellent references. What a waste of time.

I have worked with this company for over 3 years and Im a plus size consultant. Why would we sell plus size if DB doesn't hire plus? you're ***.

Guest

I am a plus size women working in the alterations department for close to a year. I agree with Kukima.

Guest

I have been in two different David's Bridals in two different states that have plus size women working in them.

Guest

Sooo, where do you get they don't hire plus size women? You had an interview, and it didn't work out!

Welcome to the real world! Not every interview ends up in a job offer, just ask all the other "outgoing" people with "no criminal background and excellent references" that are still job searching....

Poor Customer service & lied about discount!

I originally went to David's Bridal to find my wedding gown they had nothing that looked right one me.. so i went to other stores and found one that was just right for me. I went back to David's Bridal to get my bridesmaid thier dresses, we found one that was perfect for them. I originally delt with Patti and when I made my second appointment for my bridesmaid I delt with her again. When i got there for my appointment she wasn't even there! We had to find the dresses all on our own and we had to find different associates to ask them any questions. Finally Patti showed and up and she was busy with a bride on the other side of the store. By that time we had already decided on what dresses we wanted. She told me and my bridal party that we would received $20 off the dresses. When one of my bridesmaid called to order her dress they charged her full price for the dress and was told that she doesn't get the $20 off the dress. I called Patti myself and told her what happened and she said there was nothing she could do and I told her that I will have my bridesmaid call back and get her money back and we will do our business elsewhere, Patti proceeds to tell me all sales are final and they can't return her money. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!! They are horrible with customer service!!!

David's Bridal...should be named "Walmart of Bridal" for that is how you are treated and also the quality and style of the dresses. Every style in every size. That's what I want, my dress on every other bride in town!

You only get the discounts on BM dresses if the bride purchases her dress from David's, it's in their Rewards program. I hate y'all had a bad experience... You must not be in the right David's because I have always had wonderful experiences with super sweet girls!

Rebecca Msf

i have no experience in DB, i found my dream dress here but the horriable stories shock me :sigh...my friends recommend shop.bestdressprice.com for me, not sure yet.

Guest

Most DB are rude and unattentive they need to make sure that ait is understood and not assumed i am also an un happy customer that will not go back to DB for a bridal gown. I have purchased other items there and was treated better when shopping for my daughter's 8th grade grad dress without an appointment then i was shopping for a wedding dress for her with an appointment

Guest

Whoa! What's with all the db employees screaming aat the customer for not understanding. In business you please the customer or they turn elsewhere.

David's is always a crummy experience. Its hit or miss whether you get attention.

The discounts are shady marketing techniques that are vague and confusing. The details of the discounts aren't always made as clear as you all are saying they are. David's is like any big box chain and personal Service clearly isn't a priority.

The original poster has echoed sentiments that I've heard many times from friends and personal experience so I don't believe this was an isolated incident!

Guest

ACTUALLY David's Bridal SUCKS!!!! My sister went there to purchase her wedding gown, in Des Moines, IA and was treated with disrespect the ENTIRE TIME!

Even if it isn't DB policy we were told her alterations would be free, also we were told we would get $20 off her BM dresses, which they do do refunds because better believe when we didn't get our discount I went back in and got the 20 dollars back! and we didn't use a card it was cash! When she went in for alterations they then tried to charge her an additional 200 dollars for alterations that we were originally told would be free, I spoke to the manager who stated for the lady to sign the receipt and it would be free. After the alterations were started she received a call saying that she would still have to pay the alteration fee and the lady that told us we wouldn't was "lower down" than she was and shouldn't have made that judgement.

When we came in for her final fitting they were rude as ***!!! Not only to us but everyone else in the store.

I'm sorry but that is your job that's what you get paid to do if you don't enjoy it then find a different job. That is supposed to be a good time for the customers, it's part of something that is the most important time in their life, last thing they need is the stress of someone being a complete ***!

This is another case of a bride hearing what she wants, and getting mad because she was wrong. Its not DB fault you didnt look good in any of the dresses.

its not Patti's fault because DB runs theyre employees to the ground, and she was most likely balancing more than the bride.

Although you had an appointment, DB inc does not require an employee to work exclusively with one person at a time/ Thats something you can complain to the company its self. Not our fault youre heard of hearing and cant understand the way a company works.

D'sB Card, you're incorrect. The Bridesmaids receive a $20 discount IF the bride purchases her gown from David's Bridal and the dresses are not already marked down. If she does not purchase her gown from David's Bridal, the bridesmaids will not receive any type of discount.

David's Bridal saved the day!!!

My son was getting married and the bridal party went to a bridal store (very expensive) and ordered their bridesmaids gowns far advanced of the wedding. We gave a fake date of 3 months before the wedding. Our gowns never arrived, they were never made!! We got a refund and went to David's and they were fantastic. The girls found one they all liked. They flew in gowns from all over the country for all 6 girls. They also saved money on the gowns as well. David's saved the wedding! I highly recommend them. I also found a gown there and had my alterations done as well. Could not of been happier.

David's Bridal

I took my 10 year old step daughter to David's to look for a Jr. Bridesmaid dress for my wedding. I told the saleswoman that I was looking for Champagne or White. I picked out a dress of the childrens rack and had her try it on. It did not fit. The saleswoman said that this was the largest size they had in childrens, that I should try a Jr. bridesmaid dress for her. She brought me over a dress that was green (I really needed Champagne or White) so I tried it on her. It fit, and when asked what colors it came in she said that it did not come in Champagne or White! Then why did you give me the dress to try on? Then she tells me in front of my 10 year old step daughter, "I'm sorry, were not going to have a dress that's going to fit her!" In front of a little girl. I walked out the door at that point. When I called and spoke to a manager to complain, she said that she was sorry and she hoped we would give them another chance. NEVER!

Pissed off Bride

My wedding day was Sept. 2009, I gave my Bridesmaids the dress # to take to the store in 2 different states and 4 different stores, I had already ordered my jr bridesmaid a different dress, but the agents in the other stores took it upon themselves to order all the bridesmaids the same dress I ordered for the jr. so when I found out it was too late, they offered no apology, they wanted to refund my money and told me to change my color, or look for a different dress, it was too late this was a week before the wedding.

Sorry to hear that a DB employee wasn't there at all times to hold your hand, pat your head & kiss your *** Customers like you make working ratail a nightmare.

My sister is getting married in January and is VERY hard to please. However, the service she and her bridal party received 4 days ago was beyond disgusting.

She scheduled the appointment at the Wilkes-Barre PA store and when we arrived the women at the door looked at us in annoyance and told us to go pick out the dresses we would like to try on while they prepared 4 dressing rooms for us. They told us the name of the woman that would be assisting us. We never saw her, she never greeted us and if it hadnt been for one of the associates calling her out of the back room, i'm not certain we would have even seen her. There was another bride there trying on dresses who was having her mother zip her up and help her pick out other dresses and get other sizes due to the neglect of our associate.

She never once offered to get us other sizes if one didnt fit, she didn't zip anyone up or even ask if we were ok. we were approached by one of the women from the door that said "You girls seem to be doing ok by yourselves". After the acknowledgment of the neglect we were receiving we took the dresses off and left. I could not believe how heartless and cold the women in the store were about other peoples special day.

I work at a jewelry store and sell engagement rings to happy couples.

By no means would I ever want their experience in our store to be negative and have to relate that negativity to their wedding day and I can't believe David's Bridal would either. For the rest of my sisters life she will relate that negative experience to her wedding day---I hope they're pleased with themselves.

Guest

When you looked for and chose dresses, you were told the expected lead time for all dresses and the (few) options for reordering if you changed your mind. Your consultant would have wishlisted your favorites.

Somewhere along the line, there was a mistake, but when your bridesmaids ordered their dresses, each one was given a receipt with the dress style number, color and size written on it and was told when the dress would arrive. This sounds like a breakdown in communications between you and your attendants, not you and the store.

Guest

david bridal is full of ***!!

Guest

David's Bridal is considered to be the Largest Bridal Retailer in the country. Surely with all this stock they could have made up for the mistake.

I own my own small bridal shop and usually once a week, I hear a comment about how unhappy someone was with their service.

I believe David's Bridal is the Wal-mart of bridal stores and you get what you pay for. If you wanted high quality products you don't shop at Wal-mart, so why did you trust your most important day to the equivalent of it?

Guest

Things like this happen in every store...DB customer's tend to complain about these things but forget that during their initial visit to the store they are told to order dresses with enough time for alterations and/or exchanges to be done. Alot of brides think they have alot of time and do not consider the 6 to 12 weeks lead time on dresses.

Guest

I also have been having issues with davids. First off I put a dress on layaway and was making the payments on the dress and the day after it went on cleareance racks for $50 less than I had it in layaway for. I still had to pay the full price.

Guest

I'm sorry for the misfortune, but they tried to apologize and make up for the error by offering you a refund. Ordering new dresses would have taken far too long. My advice for anyone reading this article would be to order way in advance, and work everything out with your main store BEFORE ordering ANYTHING to avoid the same error.

It took four months to get my dress

I took me from June to October to get my bridesmaid's dress. First it was too small, but I was carged $95.00 for alteration even though This was partially impossible.zthey refused to refund my money, instesd I was peomised a bigger size dress (size 10,as the size 8 was too small), but instead I received a size 12,then had that fitted for alteration again, while I was waiting the size 10 came so I had to re-fit again for another alteration then wait again for that alteration. I finally picked up my dress the Monday before the wedding after I asked to speak with the manager.

David's Bridal lied about when ordered items would ship

I paid for a bra and slip to go with my wedding dress, but they didn't have my size, so they said they'd order it. Both were supposed to be in today, but now they tell me my slip will take another 3 weeks to ship. My wedding is coming up in a month, so needless to say I am very disappointed and angry that I have another thing to stress out over. What an unprofessional way to conduct a business. I don't recommend anyone planning a quick, simple, easy wedding to use David's Bridal for their dress and accessories.

Its the stores fault if they made the error. And since someone/somewhere made the error, its insane that this girl had to wait 3 more weeks for a shipment that may or may not arrive. If Davids Bridal was interested in customer service (you know, the art of doing right by the customer?) they would have offered a much quicker ship date, then they should have been in contact with the Customer about the status of that shipment.

Guest

the bra and the slip can be on different order times and come in at different times. David's shouldn't have giving you an arrival time less thin 6weeks but some times I've seen it go all the way up to 12 wks. It can come in before that but it's not a guarantee.

Guest

I work in retail, and i know how sometimes things get delayed. Trucks may not make it in time, orders may not go through, computer errors may occur....And so forth.

Basically it isn't really that stores fault that the expected arrival date did not come through. The best way to avoid this, for anyone reading, is to be sure of the return policy so that you can pick up a bra elsewhere if you have to (though I recommend using the one DB has to work with the dress).

Davids Bridal Ann Arbor, MI store

We purchased 6 dresses from Davids Bridal in Ann Arbor, MI for a wedding. What a huge mistake!!! The customer service was okay when we were trying on and looking at different dresses. We had to keep calling the sales people back over to help us. Once the dresses were purchased the service greatly declined!! I have never been to a store with such bad customer service! When we picked the dresses up in October, we were told not to make alteration appointments until the end of April. We were also told that if the dresses needed to be exchanged for a different size then we had up until the day before the wedding to exchange them at no extra cost, as long as they were not altered. Well we called the last week of April, as suggested, and they were already booked up and had to squeeze us in two weeks before the wedding. Then the sales people told us we were supposed to have called two months before the wedding. Who is training these people so they can all try to be on the same page here. One of the brides maids needed to exchange her dress for a larger size, so she tried to exchange it a month before the wedding. They told her that she would have to pay a $45 express shipping cost because she waited a month before the wedding. And she would also have to pay an express alteration fee because the dress wouldn't be in until the week of the wedding. What happened to no extra cost, no problem, can exchange up until the day before the wedding? We went to pick the dresses up from alterations today and none of them had been steam pressed as promised. Also the brides dress was not altered properly, the bustle looked terrible. One of the brides maids dresses was not altered properly. There is only 4 days before the wedding and now we have to hope they can get everything fixed in time! I have never had this much trouble with a store and such rude employees. The bride is so upset over all the problems, she cried. This should have been a happy experience for her and it turned out terrible. We will never go to Davids Bridal again and I am spreading the word to everyone so this store does not ruin another brides beautiful day!

The dresses get altered and then a quick steam. The dresses were full of wrinkles when we tried to pick them up. None of the dresses left the store until final pick up.

To finish the rest of the story.....after finally getting all the dresses back, it was wedding day. The bride had on her dress in the church waiting, we went to put the bustle up and all of the stiching and hooks were now gone! We called the store immediatly and they sent someone out to "fix it". The woman they sent out had no supplies what so ever with her. She spent most of the time on the phone with the store trying to figure out how to fix the bustle. The store employee said that she could see where the snaps used to be from alterations and wasn't sure why they removed them. She managed to find a needle and some string in her purse. She made a quick fix to the dress and then left.

By the end of the night the dress was now black because it wasn't properly bustled up and had to drag on the floor.

The bride did complain enough that the store paid for all the dry cleaning bills.

As far as the comment above, I think you need to either get an education or use spell check.

Guest

Fisrt of all, i am so sorry about poor customers services.sometimes. i always said, its not the employes faults.

its the managers .if they know how to manage, all the consultants should know what to do./say/.if no good managers.workers don't care.and sometimes.costumers is not always right.when u guys comes in to order, they always tells u, sometime it takes 2 to 4 months thats why u need to order now. so why u think, just a month or few weeks before the wedding, they still can exchange color or sizez? and when they said, u need to book now for alteration.just to save the date and time in the book.is not like you have to pay to be in the book.and when they said.

we connot steam or press after someone else alterd the dresses.doesnt mean,u have right to get mad when u try to bring it in to press and tells u, they can't and another.when they tells u to bring 2 weeks before the wedding if u wish to spot press.they have reason for that.u are not the only 1 needed for steam a pressing.and they don't do sameday service. they are not a dry cleaners.

Guest

1) always have a copy of their policies in writing, not all employees know everything (even if they think they do)

2) If you are told to come in later, make the appointment now! That way you don't have to worry about last minute squeezes, you're already in.

3) Paying for the shipping isn't paying for the dress. Be sure to clarify

Terrible customer cervice and coorly made dress

This company is not willing to make the customer happy in any way. First, David's Bridal order the wrong color dresses for us (bridesmaids). They were not willing to give us a discount and the staff was rude. The associate made a rude comment about the bride and her baby. I was the last to get my dress and when it came in, the top portion of the dress is made improperly. The seamstress says that is how the dress is supposed to be made but the other bridesmaids dresses are not made like mine. The wires in the breast area poke out which is very noticeable. She tells me that it is too big in the top and it needs some stitches to tighten it up. We ask if they can do it they tell us no. So not only we spend $155+ on the dresses, we get the wrong color dresses, the bride get rude comments from the staff, and no friendly helpful associates to help fix the problem with my dress. Now I have to take the dress to an alteration shop and spend more money. Did I mention that the color of the wedding had to be changed at the last minute because of the color mix up?! All David's Bridal was concerned about was getting their money, after that, customer service went down hill. This is suppose to be a happy occasion for us especially my sister (the bride), but David's Bridal staff has made this a nightmare.

What Does Coorly mean?

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-102004

Coorly is another way to say poorly to those who do not understand. Looks to me like the bad experience at David's caused this person to stumble on a couple of words, but I am certain normal people get the gist of the complaint.

David's Bridal certainly shows a poor level of customer service. Did I spell correctly here. I am also going by the many reviews from many sources saying the same thing!

So, instead of responding the way you did above, practice better customer care to avoid such negative and accurate comments. :roll

Inadequate Service

When going to the Pineville, NC David's Bridal, I can't say that I expected much from them which I guess was why I wasn't that surprised. We had made an appointment however entered the store and it took 30 minutes before anyone even came over to help us. My friend and I are both bride-to-be's so both in the market for a wedding dress along with bridesmaids. Potential to spend lots of money in the store. The "wedding consultant" smelled like she had just smoked a pack of cigarettes, had dirty clothing on and food in her teeth. If I owned a bridal store I would not allow my associates to handle the dresses smelling like that or talking to clients looking like that. To top that, because we inadvertently only made one appointment, she would not allow one of us to try dresses on until we made an appointment. Keep in mind there were 3 other associates there not with any clients. I will continue looking for a dress and as a last resort spend any money at David's Bridal. I guess when your as large as David's Bridal, there's no need to worry about the staff you have representing the brand!

Exactly why she should have received better service (response to Sally's big brother). Don't quite understand your condescending comment.

When you have a retail business, I don't care what your name is, bottom line without customers, you have no business. So take care of them.

We had a bad customer service in Pineville NC they acted like we were bothering them I understand they are a huge chain with poor quality dresses but they are not the only bridal place in town they think they are exclusive, Group USA in Concord NC is an option, they are grateful to have you as a customer dresses are cheaper and better quality Bridesmaides dresses can be ordered on line, I do not see how Davids Bridal stays in business.

Davids Bridal sold my personal information

Davids Bridal without my consent or knowledge sold my name, address, phone #, cell phone number & email address to numrous vendors

My mailbox is overflow, my phone is ringing off the hook, and my cell phone is getting 3 to 4 calls a week from mary kay ladies, tux places, flower people

I highly recommend never going to Davids Bridal and if you absolutely have to go give them fake information

I wrote a letter to the corporation office and a rep called me and left I message. I returned her call 3 times and she didn't even bother to return my call.

I wrote a total of 3 letters to them and they ignored them.

Same thing happened to me!! I keep getting emails from other parties and now even phone calls.

I am PISSED. Will never use David's Bridal, nor the 3rd parties they're selling to (Raymour and Flanigan is one). And the kicker?

I'm not even getting married! It was for a bridesmaid dress!

Guest

how hard is it to say...I'm sorry I'm not interested. Many of the vendors offer discounted deals exclusively for brides through David's Bridal..I don't get the big deal.

No is not a hard word easier than the effort type up all this on a website for a contract that clearly states it shares information.

Guest

I had a dress appointment with them to try on a few. Not only was my sales consultant completely terrible, but I specifically OPTED OUT on their sheet.

I am in online marketing for a living and it's against the law for them to sell personal information without a consumer's written consent. The number they received is my cell and also my work number. It's been ringing off the hook for three months, I got registered for things I have never heard before and my email box is insane with SPAM.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get on the BBB.org website and file a formal complaint - if enough people fight back, they will lose their BBB Charter!

Guest

I plan on sueing David's Bridal. I checked the "opt out" box and they still sold my information! Depending on the state you live in you are protected by privacy laws.

Guest

David's Bridal does sell your information, through the Strategic Partnership Program.Another common reference to the program is the David's Bridal Vendor Program.Sabrina McGarrity is the director of the program.1-80*-***-**** ext 633461*-***-2533smcgarrity@***.com

Guest

I had this same thing happened to me. The sales associate at David's Bridal was very pushy and pressured me to try on dresses and accessories I didn't like.

I did not like anything there and bought my wedding dress elsewhere, however, I am now getting calls from vendors AND the staff at David's Bridal. I was unaware that my information would be given out to third parties.

I did not see anything on the form I filled out about "giving me consent"..it was simply a form like what other bridal stores have you fill out to get info about your wedding and dress style. I am not happy my information was shared with people I did not want it to be shared with and now getting bombarded with nagging phone calls.

Guest

That is what my father always told me. No matter how long it took, READ WHAT YOU SIGN!

I have made people wait for 20 minutes or more while reading contracts before I put my signature on them because it is MY NAME, MY REPUTATION, MY INTEGRITY that will be brought into question should there be a problem.

My advice, don't be lazy and blame others for your mistake. Ask questions, listen to the answers and READ WHAT YOU SIGN.

Guest

Again, whether or not money changed hands for the info, IT still sux!!!

Guest

Hey Fine Print, glad you have the time in life to thoroughly peruse every single piece of legal-sized paper covered in 6-point font shoved in your face. Obviously David's staff isn't drawing as much attention to this "opt out" feature as they should be. And while the letter of the law is on thier side, this is the EPITOME of *** business/customer service practices.

Guest

Someone either intentionally gave them a "made up" number (which turned out to be mine) or they wrote the number down wrong. Upon the first call from the local store, I asked that my number be removed because I had not done business with them and did not want to be contacted by them or any 3rd party businesses again.

THEY REFUSED TO REMOVE MY NUMBER.

From that day forward I began receiving multiple calls AND text messages from not only 3rd party vendors, but also collection agencies looking for the person who gave David's Bridal my number. I have reported them to the BBB and sincerely hope they reconsider how they do their business practices.

Lied about cost of alterations

Initially when I purchased a bridesmaid dress the girl helping me told me the hem would run $10 and the alterations would run $50. You can imagine my surprise when I took the dress in for a hem and they wanted to charge me $60. They then told me the dress didn't fit because of my bra and tried to sell me a bra for another $60. Not to mention that the sale people completely ignored me. There were approximately 8 sales people present and I was the only customer. I will never set foot in another David's Bridal again.

The cost of a standard hem on a bridesmaid gown is $30 -$60-depending on how many layers and the degree of diffuculty. You were probably given that price by an un-informed consultant.

Check with alterations directly so there are no surprises! ;)

Rude in person service, Nasty attitude

Nasty attitude, Ignored while at service desk w/o line! Yes it was a busy day but the woman acted as if she was doing me a favor by speaking to me and nastily told me that 6 people were in front of me and I had a 4 hour wait. This was right after I had been to another bridal store who nicely told me that it was a busy day and they could not fit me in until later in the day past my available time. The difference was legendary and for this reason I will not use David's bridal for my wedding dress search!

David's Bridal- COMPLETE Nightmare!

I went to David's Bridal in March of this year to look for my wedding gown for my November wedding. After having excellent customer service with a consultant named Sandy, I was more then happy to recommend them to my 2 bridesmaids. I went with my Maid Of Honor to David's to look at dresses, we had an appt but the consultant didn't do a darn thing. She showed us where the dresses are and left us to look on our own. She gave us no suggestion on which dresses cam in the color we wanted. After findind dresses on our own our consultant was never found. I had to flag someone else down to get a dressing room. She tried on the dresses and purchased one of them. 6 weeks later my Maid of Honor picked her dress up, tried it on, and it was sewed crooked. One side was larger then another. My MOH asked to have it fixed and the alterations lady said it wasn't the dress, it was my MOH body that was wrong! After being publically embarrassed, David's agreed to alter the dress for free. 4 weeks later the dress was redy for the second time, still not right! Again the alterations women who barely speaks english insisted it was not the dress my it was me MOH's body. My MOH asked to take the dress home to have a family member fix it and they would not let her leave with it! After an arguing match they agreed to fix it a 3rd time! Tomorrow is the third fitting and I, the bride, am going to see the result. The dress will be right or they will get her another one. Poor foreign alterations lady might want to call in sick tomorrow... Wish me luck!

I can't feel sorry for you, when you make a point of the alterations lady being foreign (who cares?!?) And you can barely type in English yourself? I understand you are angry, but being foreign has no bearing on what happened.
