Purchased my daughter wedding dress last summer. The consultant told us that alterations where included with the purchase of the dress, so being that she was only 4months pregnant and the wedding was for April 2016, she talked us into getting a bigger dress! So in March we took dress back to get it altered and was informed that we where mislead and that the consultant is no longer employed with the company. I went online to follow the instructions to return shoes. It states you will get emails a MRA number- needless to say I never got the MRA emailed to me. After waiting a few days to see if the email would come I tried again. Finally, I contact their customer service line - rep was so rude, stating that it was past the 14 day time frame. I explained to her 2 times that the reason it was beyond was not due to me rather them not sending me a required MRA number. Had the worst experience trying on dresses today. Very poor customer service. I was told I had 1 1/2 hours with a representative. Within that time I was given 3 dirty disgusting dresses to try on. I'm a size 10 and was given size 24 to try on. These white dresses we're so dirty they we're brown and the smell was horrific. My person was hardly ever around to help so I started to get my own dresses. I was so upset I had a panic attack and left. She said it really wasn't important to get a dress today because my wedding was not for 9 more months. Read more

So, I bought a dress back in December. I wasn't too crazy about it, but I got it because it was the "last one in stock". They had to order it online anyways. Apparently, I got a bargain and the dress cost $800. The next day, I looked it up online and it was actually $700. So they just stole a hundred dollars from me. I had a dress appointment in March and surprisingly found a dress that I loved. Bought and paid for the dress in full on the same day. Dress arrived and I made an alterations appt 2 weeks ago, which they tried to disuade me of booking due to length of time to the wedding (as body shape will change) Have just been told that I need to collect my dress from them even though my wedding is 10 months away - cant believe this and had I known, I would never have bought the dress. We arrived at David's bridal in Murfreesboro tn with a little first grade girl with dreams of finding a beautiful flower girl dress. A male waited on us and took us to the flower girl dresses. We asked if she could try one on for size, in which he looked down and said to our little girl "babies are usually flower girls, we have nothing her size." I asked for maybe a junior bridesmaid and he said "not in white" I asked if she could at least try a couple on for sizing. He pointed us to a dressing room. Terrible terrible terrible! Their return policy is "we do not accept returns at all- ever- for any reason". That is the return policy. Don't have a dress in the store for you to try on? Tough luck- order it on line. Doesn't fit? Tough luck again- not their problem. Very consumer unfriendly. Add comment

I am not happy with the David's Bridal return policy. Recently my friend's wedding was officially canceled. They were suppose to get married back in Feb, but the groom was deployed, and decided to postpone the wedding. He returned safely, and they decided to set the wedding in May. So I bought my dress back in Dec., apparently DB's policy is 14 days after receiving to return. Then the customer service rep told me on the phone to try to sell on eBay or Amazon. My daughter bought a dress from David's Bridal in Canton Ohio several weeks ago for an April 29th event. She was not as happy with the way it looked on her once she got it home and tried it on several more times . The dress cost $240 plus it needed hemmed and altered at the shoulders so we were told that it would be another $100. The lady that spoke with us about alterations seemed really unfriendly.
